  Atlanta Bread is a great place to eat with freshly baked breads and made to order salads and sandwiches. There are always different types of soups available to try. My personal favorite is the Potato soup, loaded with cheese and bacon on top, in a sourdough bread bowl- with a drink this comes out to about $8. The bakery boasts fresh coffee, breads for purchase, pastries, cookies, bagels, and smoothies. There is free wi-fi available and electric outlets for charging devices.
  
  The only thing I dislike about this restaurant is one of the managers, a short bald Hispanic man, who constantly degrades his employees in front of customers. He is extremely unprofessional and rude, and also speaks Spanish to his employees using derogatory language. However, the other manager, a short Caucasian man with grey hair, is very friendly and helpful. I hope the owner/manager sees that regular customers notice the difference between managers and how poorly this looks on the company.

  I actually work next door to this shop, and have done so for the past 2 years now. During this time, I have become well acquainted with the Atlanta Bread staff. They are very friendly people. The store is always so clean, and everyone always has a smile. Great environment that makes you want to stay, and in my case, even makes me want to take a nap because of how cozy it is.

  Food was good, however the lady that took our order was not very welcoming or helpful. The manager was was great and interacted with people and held conversations with the locals.

  I always enjoy having lunch here, whether for business or when I can meet up with my wife. The food is always top notch and the service is okay, but overall I always have a positive experience. The few times my order was incorrectly served they have been very fast to resolve it. Best casual lunch spot in hickory!
